I am curious and validating, providing a nurturing environment to talk openly and honestly about your struggles, strengths, weaknesses, needs, likes, and dislikes. I love helping people explore their unique and particular powers as well as how these powers impact their world and their relationships. As a passionate supporter of those who have been through unjust or otherwise traumatic experiences--including those experiencing discrimination based upon race or gender identity or sexual orientation--I am particularly interested in helping people gain skills for dealing with, and making sense of, the remnants of their pasts.
Having completed Bessel Van der Kolk's Trauma Research Foundation's Certificate in Traumatic Stress Studies in early 2025, I have a strong foundational understanding of the most cutting edge approaches to treating trauma. I am also comfortable using a combination of approaches, including Psychodynamic, Gestalt, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. I received an MSW from the University of Pennsylvania, a psychodynamically focused program, after which I completed Bryn Mawr's certificate program in psychodynamic psychotherapy. I have also completed 1 year of Gestalt Therapy training and the Acceptance and Commitment Therapy Immersion Program.
As an LCSW, my training emphasized the role of social environment--from the family to society at large--in how we construct our narratives, enabling me to help you make sense of what in your life is yours to own and what is a product of your environment.
Elisabetta Ambron is licensed psychologist who completed her PhD in psychology and cognitive neuroscience at the University of Edinburgh. Her knowledge in cognitive neuroscience has equipped her with a unique understanding of the relationship between body and brain.
There are people who the rest of the world thinks are doing great (or were, until some life-altering change occurred)—people who are giving so much and trying so hard. But somehow it’s never enough.
If this describes you, let's talk. My clients tend to be people who care for others, like teachers, activists, nurses and clergy. However, I also work with a lot of people who are just overwhelmed by the state of the world.
I welcome those who are skeptical about therapy. It is very important to me to be affirming of all genders and expressions, and to be an active anti-racist ally.
Hello! I have been practicing as a Licensed Professional Counselor for over 10 years following a fun career in the theater world. I primarily work with those who want to gain insight to their behavior and relationships, overcome anxiety or depression symptoms, and develop a stronger sense of self and confidence.
Hello, My name is Paula Crawford, I am a licensed professional counselor, My belief as a therapist is that each individual has the right and responsibility to live a life in wholeness! Yes, life always is lif-ing and sometimes we need an objective partner/facilitator to join on the journey. Sometimes, we can only make sense of our choices and decisions through self-reflection. Other times, we need support with healing. Therapy can be that space. Please feel free to review my bio and if you feel we could be a good fit, reach out to me.
Wishing you a blessed and productive day today!
