With 15 years of experience supporting children, families, couples, and adults, I bring a bilingual and bicultural perspective shaped by my roots in Mexico and a deep appreciation for diverse experiences. My focus is on helping people find relief from anxiety, depression, and PTSD, and on guiding them to build stronger, healthier relationships. My approach is compassionate and understanding, and I’m here to help you feel heard, supported, and empowered on your journey.
I love mental health. I love listening to people and diving into the challenges my clients face on a daily basis. I am humbled with the invitation to join your journey, and help you learn how to help yourself. We all have the tools to undertake the obstacles that we encounter; sometimes we need someone to help us take a step back to find a different perspective. I appreciate the bravery and courage that it takes for each of my clients to let me into their lives and become vulnerable with me.
I have found my own personal healing to be intimately connected to nature, and it is here that I believe that we can all begin to rediscover our intrinsic humanity and let go of those things that distract us from our higher selves. In my spare time, I work as an outdoor educator and manage my own private practice and guide Outdoor Retreats
I believe it is helpful and important to translate what is discussed in session and in telehealth meetings into lived experience and real change.
Welcome to Bright House Therapy, LLC. My name is Virginia Sanchez, I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with several years of experience working in LGBTQIA+, Grief & Loss, Bipolar, Trauma, ADHD, and Autism. I have worked in several different settings; supporting families involved with the Department of Children Services, assisting creating and following through with routines for adults with special needs, developed and ran LGBTQIA+ groups for parents of LGBTQIA+ youth, and provided support to Veterans through the Veteran Crisis Line.
Having been in therapy myself, I've experienced firsthand its positive impact, helping me overcome my anxiety and equipping me with practical tools I still use today. I understand that repeatedly answering 'How does that make you feel?' can be frustrating. Drawing from my personal experience both as a therapy client and practitioner in a treatment center setting, I bring energy into my sessions and build momentum to help clients get unstuck and face their Anxiety & OCD with confidence.
There may be times when you wish you had someone who truly listens, deeply and without judgment. Let me be that person for you. I work with adults across California on anxiety, depression, trauma, grief and loss, family and relationship strain, stress, and the pressures that come with new motherhood. I also support women, transgender clients, and people navigating cultural and identity questions, in English or in Spanish. Whatever you are facing right now, I am here to help you move toward the next chapter of your life with clarity and confidence. Together, we will honor your unique story and set clear, achievable goals that actually feel within reach.
Sometimes the hardest part isn't the struggle itself. It's finding someone who will actually understand the world you're living in. I'm Pia, a psychotherapist with many years of experience working with adults and seniors through anxiety, trauma, grief, identity questions, relationship strain, and major life transitions. I work with individuals and couples from a wide range of backgrounds, including LGBTQIA+ communities, new and expecting mothers, and people from diverse cultural and ethnic origins who have sometimes found mainstream therapy less than welcoming. I listen closely, and I work hard to make sure you feel genuinely seen from the very first session.
I have a passion for helping people release stress and trauma being stored in the body. I work with adults who have experienced adverse childhood experiences.
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over twenty years experience. I have a Master's Degree in Social Work with focus on Children and Families, a Master's Degree in Sociology with a Certificate in Criminology and Corrections, and a PhD in Social Work (all but dissertation) with focus on trauma, sexual abuse and assault, and domestic violence. I was the Director of a private, non-profit Foster Care and Adoption Agency, I worked in a women's shelter for domestic violence and sexual assault. I worked in a Level 4 men's prison, and I worked as a Supervisor for mental health therapists serving school systems. I have always had a private practice as well. I have worked in teletherapy for approximately 8 years.
I’m so glad you’re here. I’m Nina, a licensed therapist who is passionate about helping people feel better and live more fulfilling lives. I’ve worked with individuals from diverse backgrounds and offer services in both English and Spanish. My goal is to support your well-being by helping you build skills, navigate challenges, and create healthier, more meaningful relationships.
I believe therapy works best when it feels like a genuine human relationship. My goal is to create an environment where you feel accepted, challenged, and supported—not judged. I'll celebrate your successes with you, help you make sense of the difficult moments, and gently point out the patterns that may be holding you back. I bring curiosity, humor, and compassion into my work because meaningful growth doesn't have to happen in a room that feels cold or intimidating.
