I believe every person is created in the image of God and carries a dignity that circumstances cannot erase. Life can change around us quickly. Roles end. Relationships shift. Children leave. Careers come to a close. We lose people we love, and sometimes we lose versions of ourselves we thought would always be there. Yet even in these moments, we are still becoming.
Much of my work is with adults navigating the later chapters of life—retirement, the empty nest, caregiving, changing relationships, and the question that sometimes quietly follows: Who am I now? I also work with couples trying to find their way back to one another and with individuals healing from addiction or the aftermath of an unhealthy relationship.
I believe growth remains possible at every age. We may not get to choose everything that happens to us, but we can examine how we will meet what has happened and what kind of life we want to create from here.
Clients often tell me that I listen closely, including to what is not being said. I believe every person brings a story that deserves to be understood before it is interpreted. My work begins there—with curiosity, careful attention, and respect for the life you have lived and the life you still have ahead of you.
Hello, I’m David. I work with individuals dealing with stress, anxiety, and major life changes, as well as those adjusting to injuries or ongoing health issues. Life can feel overwhelming when physical or emotional challenges start affecting your daily routine. In our work together, we focus on practical strategies that help you regain balance, improve coping, and move forward with confidence.
I earned my Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from California University of Pennsylvania in 2020. Since then, I’ve worked with children and adults facing depression, anxiety, trauma, eating disorders, and some substance use, also at a psychiatrist hospital and with youth in the juvenile system. I’m a first-generation Nigerian American and the creative “black sheep” of my family. I bring empathy, authenticity, and individuality into my therapy practice, helping clients heal and grow.
My name is Jena Bennett and I have been a Licensed Professional Counselor for 13 years. I specialize in trauma and grief counseling. Currently, I work with individuals and married couples. I believe when people find help and healing there is a ripple effect of healing in our culture.
I am a doctoral-prepared nurse (DNP) and a dual-certified nurse practitioner (FNP-C/PMHNP-BC) with more than twenty years of nursing experience. I am great at combining my clinical skills with a holistic approach to patient care, with a goal of helping you feel understood and empowered. I am committed to improving patient outcomes through clear communication and care planning and implementing evidence-based treatment plans.
Life can become overwhelming when you are carrying anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship difficulties, anger, grief, or the weight of experiences you have never fully had the opportunity to process. Sometimes you know exactly what hurts; other times, you simply know something needs to change.
I believe therapy should be a place where you can be honest without fear of judgment.
My clinical experience includes working with adolescents and adults experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, emotional dysregulation, anger, relationship and family concerns, grief, life transitions, low self-esteem, and challenges with communication. I'm especially passionate about helping people understand the connection between their past experiences and present-day patterns. Together, we can identify what no longer serves you, strengthen communication and emotional regulation skills, establish healthier boundaries, and develop practical strategies you can use outside the therapy room. My goal is not to tell you how to live your life. It is to help you better understand yourself, recognize your strengths, and feel more confident navigating the challenges ahead.
Whether you are struggling with something that happened recently or carrying experiences that have affected you for years, you do not have to have everything figured out before beginning therapy. We can start exactly where you are.
