I work with primarily adults and teens navigating anxiety, depression and lasting impact of trauma. I have particular focus on supporting individuals who have experienced narcissistic abuse, coercive control and high conflict relationships, including the stress that can come with separations or divorce
You say yes when you mean no. You apologize for things that aren’t your fault. You replay conversations afterward, looking for the moment you were too much, not enough, or slightly wrong. You feel responsible for everyone else’s happiness, even when it costs you your own. Maybe it shows up as perfectionism, imposter syndrome, or never quite trusting that you’ve done enough. You’re exhausted, but no one sees the pressure you carry, the guilt you feel when you put your needs first, or how hard it’s become to actually rest. You tell yourself you’re overreacting or being dramatic. You’re not.
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) with a Master of Science in Rehabilitative Counseling from the University of Texas–Pan American. I am also Certified in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (C-DBT) through Evergreen Certifications.
I work with adults experiencing anxiety, depression, stress, low self-esteem, relationship and family concerns, caregiver burnout, life transitions, emotional dysregulation, and difficulties with boundaries and interpersonal relationships. I also support clients who struggle with rumination, feeling overwhelmed, motivation, self-worth, and adjusting to significant changes in their personal or professional lives.
My approach is supportive, collaborative, and practical. I incorporate Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) strategies to help clients strengthen emotion regulation, distress tolerance, mindfulness, and interpersonal effectiveness, while also drawing from other evidence-based approaches based on each client’s individual needs. My goal is to provide a space where clients feel heard and understood while developing practical skills, gaining insight into patterns that may be keeping them stuck, and working toward meaningful, lasting change.
I work with neurodivergent women, especially moms, who have trouble turning off their brain and connecting to their feelings. Many of my clients are people pleasing, perfectionistic, and struggle with their relationships with others. Having a sense of connectedness and belonging is the strongest predictor of mental wellbeing.
You may find this to be difficult because you're carrying guilt, shame, self-blame, or the pressure to hold everything together. You may look “fine” from the outside while privately feeling overstimulated, burned out, lacking purpose or direction.
Therapy can be a place to stop performing, slow down, and connect to yourself, so you can show up in connection and belonging with others in a genuine way.
Let's see if you relate to these: You're exhausted from second-guessing every decision. Your inner critic is loud and mean. In general, your thoughts are loud and racing. Getting out of bed some days feels impossible. You're disconnected—from your body, from younger versions of yourself, from what you want.
Here's what we'll do together: We'll try to quiet that critic. Rebuild your trust in yourself. Process the hard stuff and spot the patterns keeping you stuck. You'll get clear on what matters to you—then use that as your compass.
I believe that everyone deserves a safe space to feel heard and supported. I pride myself on being a proactive advocate for my clients, ensuring that every strategy we implement is tailored to their unique long-term goals.
