Professionally, I have spent a decade in education (five years as a classroom teacher and five years as a school counselor). This is my third year as a therapist outside of the school setting.
For my masters degree, I attended Texas State University in San Marcos, TX (Eat 'em up cats!). At Texas State, I completed my MA in Professional Counseling with two focuses: school counseling and clinical mental health.

I obtained my bachelor's degree in Psychology from The University of Texas and my master's degree in Psychology from Houston Baptist University. I am Jessica B. Muniz, a licensed clinical social worker with clinical supervision credentialing, in the state of Texas. I have done clinical work within university counseling centers and also in mental health facilities to include inpatient and outpatient therapy, throughout my 15 plus years as a clinician. I have experience working with young adults, adolescents and couples. I am excited to begin our work together!
